1. Overview

Decipher is a proprietary media intelligence platform owned and operated by Pinpoint Consultancy. This service aggregates publicly available news content from third-party publishers. The Service utilizes Artificial Intelligence to analyze, categorize, and track sentiment and narrative trends.

2. AI Analysis, Accuracy, and Misinformation

The Service leverages Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite model to derive sentiment, category, and threat levels from raw text.

  • Probabilistic Nature: AI-generated sentiment analysis is probabilistic, not absolute. We cannot guarantee that our categorization of a topic or emotion is 100% accurate.
  • Misinformation Disclaimer: The Service may occasionally misinterpret headlines or articles, leading to potential inaccuracies. We explicitly disclaim any liability for misinformation generated by our AI analysis.
  • Verification Requirement: Decipher is intended for initial intelligence gathering. Users are solely responsible for cross-referencing AI-generated insights with original source reporting before making critical decisions. It should be treated as intelligence indicators for further investigation, rather than authoritative security or political reports.

3. Ethical Usage and Conduct

You agree to use Decipher responsibly. You are strictly prohibited from: using the Service to harass, threaten, or facilitate the targeting of individuals or organizations based on sentiment data, misrepresenting Decipher's AI insights as "objective facts" or "verified intelligence" in public forums or legal contexts, attempting to manipulate the "Threat Matrix" or other visual outputs by flooding data sources with coordinated, artifical content.

4. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property

Decipher aggregates content from third-party publishers. We do not claim ownership of the original articles. All news snippets are displayed as part of our index and analysis. If you are a publisher who does not wish for your content to be included in our index, please contact us at pinpointltd.png@gmail.com for immediate removal.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decipher shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from: The use or inability to use the Service, reliance on AI-generated analytics or "Threat Matrix" classifications, any political or social impact resulting from the dissemination of our aggregated data.

6. Tracking and Data Privacy

Our scripts track mentions of public figures as part of our "Power Dynamics" and "Entity Tracking" modules. This data is collected from public records (news articles) and is processed for the purpose of transparency and public discourse analysis.

Pinpoint Consultancy collects minimal data required for Service delivery: email addresses (via account registration) and notification preferences (stored via Firebase Firestore).

2. Use of Information

Your email is used exclusively to deliver the reports you subscribe to via our automated email pipeline. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase). We utilize authentication protocols to ensure your data remains accessible only to you.

4. Your Rights

You maintain full control. You can update your preferences or permanently delete your account—including all associated data—at any time through the Settings menu in the dashboard.

AI Transparency & Methodology

1. Core Engine

Decipher utilizes Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite Large Language Model (LLM) for high-speed, high-volume natural language processing. The AI evaluates text strictly based on provided system prompts designed to detect specific emotional valences and entity relationships.

2. Sentiment & Emotion Scoring

Our system moves beyond binary "positive/negative" sentiment. It maps news content across eight emotional vectors (Anger, Fear, Joy, Sadness, Trust, Disgust, Anticipation, Surprise). Scoring is probabilistic, meaning the AI assigns a confidence level to each emotion based on lexical cues, context, and phrasing.

3. Narrative Wars & Blind Spots

The "Narrative Gap" is mathematically calculated by comparing coverage volume, thematic framing, and sentiment variance across different publishers. A "Blind Spot" is triggered when a high-impact topic drops in volume across major sources at a rate statistically faster than the standard news cycle decay.

4. Known Limitations & Bias

AI models inherently carry biases based on their training data. Furthermore, the model may occasionally misinterpret sarcasm, local PNG idioms, or complex political rhetoric. Users should treat the dashboard as an intelligence indicator, not absolute ground truth. Always cross-reference critical data with original reporting.
